Odds and Ends

For the first time in my life, I'm experiencing acne and I don't know why. It's like, around my chin area. The only reason I can think I'm having this is because of resting my hand on my chin while on the internet (and I'm on the internet more during the summer than any other time of the year). Also? Probably not drinking enough water. Ugh. Can anyone relate?

I'm already thinking about how I have three weeks left of summer vacation. I'm both sad about this and excited (as only a teacher and one who loves office supplies can be). I'm both dreading dropping Luke off at the home daycare (I will miss having so much time with him) and excited about having more adults to talk to on a daily basis (and I know how much Luke loves playing with the other kids at the daycare). And yes, I'm glad I said no to summer school. I needed the break.

Speaking of school...NOTE TO SELF: I must remember to be several minutes late to the first day of school's lunch time. Why? Because every year I go too early and sit down, then others sit around me and BAM! That's usually the basic group you sit with for the rest of the year. It's too rude to get up and move to a more satisfactory group of teachers, and if you go to a different table the next day, it's a big slap in the face to the original group. Do I overthink things?

That old song, "Just My Imagination" is both pretty and deeply disturbing. I was listening to it while driving the other day and could see it being used in a movie about stalking. "But in reality..she doesn't even know me...."
