First day

Well the first day of school is over. Everything went well, except for the two periods (first and fifth) where they held the bell over for wayyyyyyyyyy too long and I had exhausted my plans for the period. Finally I just let them "hang out" until the bell DID ring.

I really want to learn everyone's name as soon as possible because until that happens, I won't feel as comfortable as I'd like.

It was weird getting to sit with my pals at lunch today, after three years of sitting with a bunch of older ladies and nodding with a polite smile on my face... I'm afraid that my girls will notice that at lunch, regardless of my company, I'm kind of a space cadet, zoning out with a sandwich in my hand, tired. ;)
