Hello Mudda, Hello Fatha...Back from "Camp"

So I survived and I feel a little silly for getting all upset over it all. Turned out a lot less structured than I had anticipated and you didn't HAVE to do anything you weren't comfortable with. I surprised myself by allowing myself to FALL in the trust fall. (See the pic over there? That is not me, just one I found that is just like what we did today. It was scarier than I expected.)
I also surprised myself by doing a little canoeing. I didn't last long though. I got freaked out and paddled back to shore as soon as I could. That water was so dark!
I also swung out on a rope and did not rescue the fake baby from a fire (someone else managed to do that), went out on a motorboat, stood on a log and helped my group arrange ourselves according to the month we were born, and did a "crossing of the river" activity with "lilypads" as stepping stones.
What else? We had a great lunch: (I thought at least!) chicken, beans, a big ole yeast roll, some kind of pie I got but didn't eat cuz my posse wanted to cut on out of there...
Saw the big OMA but didn't really cross her path too much.
So...it wasn't too bad at all. It was kinda...fun. HOT HOT HOT but...okay.

Well THAT is not the post we (I) expected :)
Glad it turned out good for you, though. I'd never wish misery on anyone...even if it resulted in good blog fodder.
Didn't realize it was today.
Still hate you were in the heat. This stuff has GOT to stop soon.....right???
I wish we would have done something like that at the hill. Glad you survived :) Charlotte
See it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be. Aren't you glad you put on your big girl panties and went? Hahahahahaha!!!!
Glad you had a better time than expected.
