Bunch O' Stuff

I've been meaning to talk about this...when I was in Auburn last week, I was simply amazed at the changes that have taken place since I lived there. (The pic over there is the last place I lived--on North Ross. Precious precious little bungalow. I wish I had stayed there much longer than I did.) I just can't believe how much the landscape of my sweet little town has changed, especially off the main exit. It made me a little excited for Auburn and also a little sad. It wasn't the Auburn I knew. Crazy what six years can do for a town...and for a person (me!). Who knew stability could be so much fun? (Heh. That should be my new quote on Myspace.)

Speaking of Myspace...Chris has gotten addicted to it. He keeps adding new football people and rock stars to his friends every night. Funny, funny man.

On a sad note, I got an email from a former student (Hi Wanita) that I taught at Auburn. She wanted me to know that a student that I taught in 99 at AHS committed suicide. Sad sad news. He was a wonderful kid that I remember as curious and very intelligent.
